For many people their journey in life and attempting to reach success is a difficult thing. The journey of life is too often hindered because individuals have yet to determine some very simplistic things concerning themselves such as:
1. Who they really are?
2. What they desire to do with their lives?
3. Do they have the courage to reach for those things that seem to be out of reach?
4. Will they continue even though the odds seem to be against them
There are a number of reasons that people learn to regress and retreat in life. Many of these reasons have to do with whom we surround ourselves and how we derive self approval. When self approval is based upon the perspectives of others we will always wait to be affirmed by others. This externalized encouragement that may or may not come. True affirmation of life comes from within when we understand who we are and what our true purpose is. The first step to this is coming to realize that you do have a purpose and that you are not just a biological number without a cause or identity. Coming to understand you is the first step to coming to terms with the greatness that is within.
What gives an individual a sense of purpose is the ability to connect to the highest power in existence. It is from this God connection that one can realize that they have been created by an awesome being like none other. It is amazing to understand that I have been tailor made and there is no one exactly like me. I have an individual soul and spirit that is mine and mine alone. Even twins are individuals. The fact that they are themselves and not another is the indication of the uniqueness of all human beings. It is in this specified uniqueness that I can find the value of myself as an individual which means no one can be me nor perform the purpose that I was created for.
It is in owning my individuality and uniqueness that I can begin to seek my path and place as a one of a kind person with a divine purpose. It is here that I can find my true value understanding that there is no other me and for that reason alone I am special. It is in the discovery of self that I find the potential of purpose.
