Essencology

The Reeverian Institute for the Study of Essencology (R.I.S.E.)

 

The R.I.S.E. School is a very important school as a part of the educational system of The Reeverian Ministerial Educational Group (R.M.E.G.).  Essencology is an extension of the Pastoral and Spiritual Counseling that has been used by Bishop D. A. Reeves for over 20 years in his pastoral ministry.

 

Over the last few decades Bishop D. A. Reeves has been developing a system of counseling that he terms Pneumatic counseling (Spiritual Counseling).  The type of spiritual counseling is of course Essencology.  Essencology was developed because Dr. Reeves was not satisfied with the counseling that was developed for believer.  Not that all counseling methods and counselors are bad or ineffective, but most never considered the impact of the spiritual essence and state of the individual spiritual and what this does to impact behavior.  Essencology does just this, examines man as body, soul and spirit and will also examine man as a fully integrated trichotomic being.

 

The Reeverian Institute for the Study of Essencology was developed for this end to provide academic training for those who seek to help the christian believer to understand the dynamics of behavior of the Christian and how and why this behavior exists.
