Magister Supremus Theology Certificate Program

90 cr. Above the Supremus

 

The Magister Supremus is the final certificate program and is composed of two components to fulfill the requirements for this Certification.  

 

1.  Commentary Studies 1-APSTH-503 20 cr. - The student may elect to study and research a commentary of their choice to glean and learn from age old reference materials.  The core text will be the commentary itself that has been chosen by either the faculty or the student if applicable.

 

 

2.  Commentary Studies 2 APSTH-504 20cr.- The student may elect to study and research a commentary of their choice to glean and learn from age old reference materials.  The core text will be the commentary itself that has been chosen by either the faculty or the student if applicable.

 

3.  Commentary Studies 3 APSTH-505 20cr.-The student may elect to study and research a commentary of their choice to glean and learn from age old reference materials.  The core text will be the commentary itself that has been chosen by either the faculty or the student if applicable.

 

4.  Dissertation 20 cr.

 

5.  Curriculum Vitae Development 5 cr.

 

6.  The Theology of Education APSTH 506 5 cr. - The student will explore the theological ramifications of education specifically from a higher educational standard.

 

 

Post Magister Supremus

 

1.  Professorial Studies 10 cr.

 

2.  An Indepth Approach To Argumentation - 10 cr.

 

 

Note: All commentary studies 1-3 must be be conducted from a full commentary set and not a single text. Each commentary must be a minimum of 8 volumes.  Each study should be outlined by the student and turned in for a grade.  Each Commentary Study is 20 Credits each.
