Prolegomenic Theology -PGTH

Prolegomenic Theology is actually the introduction system of theology.  The term is taken from the word Prolegomena which is composed of two small terms, "Pro" and "Lego" which refer to the idea of that which is previous to the "Lego" or the actual spoken discourse or utterance of teaching.

Prolegomena as a theological term suggests that there is a great deal of information that must be considered and arranged before one begins to instruct others in the science of theology.  It is the gathering and structuring of the data that is to be compiled into a system of introductory knowledge that will enable the student to have the understanding of the objective of theology and what theology was meant to be as a science in gathering knowledge concerning "Theos" of God.

Prolegomenic Theology lays the groundwork for all that is needed to become a student of theology in the Reeverian Institute of Theological Studies (R.I.T.S.).  These foundational studies will give our students the needed skills to understand how Biblical Theology should be approached and analyzed to achieve a true Biblical consensus of a sound and effective theological system.
