The Man & The Music

Music is an international language that crosses over every cultural, racial and demographic line. It speaks to all nationalities and can bring all who will hear it into a harmonious setting. The beat of a drum, that duplicates the rhythm of the heart can incite the heart and soul to movement and the sound of the strings can touch the very core of the being of the hearer.

I began this journey many years ago when getting my basic foundation in my musical training but began composing and building my catalog of music just 2 - 3 years ago. I started because I love writting and conducting research on many unique topics. I have done a lot of original research and compiled quite an extensive collection of articles and manuscripts both novels and of the technical and academic genre.

I began composing music for two reasons. The first reason was simply because I love music. The second because I desired to listen to some music that would allow me to capture the distillation of thoughts that were going through my mind and to conceptualize the thoughts and then to finally create from these thoughts that were constantly in my mind. I accomplished my goal with over a thousand songs and rising and over 50 CD projects (actually closer to about 80 lol). I now have music that engages my thought process and allows me to flow in my studies and writing activities.

I found out very early in life that music is not just a spiritual force but it is the it is also an enhancer to the mind (the intellect and the emotional aspect). It can cause the mind to become relaxed and poised and the mathematic nature of music opens the mind to the cognitive and logistic powers of the mind. Music is an awesome power that impacts behavior, emotion and the very creative ability of the hearer.

It also unveils the condition and the state of the inward man. I have chosen to release the content of my passion and thoughts in music to enable me to continue to write and do all that I do. It is my passion, it is my therapy it is my joy and it is one of my gifts from my creator and I have chosen to share it with those who desire to hear some soothing, soul repairing and inspirational songs that are original and ecclectic in nature.

Not exactly knowing what to call it I have termed it to be in the vein of one or the other of these two categories:

1. Clazzical Inspiration (traditional classical instruments used in a contemporary and yet jazz-like manner.

2. Jazzical Inspiration (More of a traditional gospel / Jazz with classical instruments but used in an unconventional manner)

I use bassons and oboe with a flair of jazz runs and rhythms as well as harps and many Asian instruments. I in some cases will us the Spanish Guitar and Africa hand instruments such as the Kalimba. I believe we are all on this one world for a purpose and as much as we like to think that we are superior to one another if every race remained issolated this world would not be what it is today as far as innovative creations and technology. Each race, each culuture has added to the advancement of the world.

This is the philosophy that I convey in my music because it is who I am and contains my life experiences, the good, the bad and everything in between.
