Music, as a whole, has changed and is still evolving. In the evolution of music there is sometimes a misconception that music styles or genres can go out of style. Music is expression that flows from the hearts of people and as a result of these expressions what is being felt can be discerned. For instance if one is lonely the feelings of loneliness can be experienced. Because loneliness is a human emotion it will always be a part of the human psyche. Because human outlooks change it does not mean that loneliness is not experienced and the effects of such experiences are not real or constant.

I believe that in many cases the musical industry has played a very significant part in causing many music genres to disappear. It is not that it is a fault of their own because music industries are just that industries that are in the music business. They exist to sell music and they are only successful when they market the music that is in demand. In part it is the society and those who listen to music. In another aspect it is the media that pushes specific music. Although people know what they like as far as music is concerned they only reach this conclusion after much exposure to specific genres of music or a particular song. There is a powerful psychology behind marketing of anything as well as music.

Many music companies and musical artist have used the "Blue Water" concept wherein they create a market for their music or a movement of musical protocols. If the individuals who have the power to determine the market choose not to play specific styles of music it can and will determine the market. People can actually learn to like specific things because of the constant rotation of musical genres or even songs being played consistently on the radio or in rotations on those online radio stations.

In truth music is always evolving and should not be abandoned or compromised. What musicians must do is to continually push the envelope in developing and enhancing their style of music. Because the human emotions are always expanding in their methods of expression even the music within should always be expanding thematically, skillfully and with the use of unique musical instruments. The musical artist evolves in his/her method of telling their story through their music. Classical music is no different. It is up to the musician to take the music to the next level while using artistic innovation in revealing the character and substance of the musical genre that is being embraced. That is my goal to continue to exercise my gift. I believe that music has not been exhausted and that there are those who will continue to keep the great masters alive while others will brave the unknown in creating new classical masterpieces. Classic music is one of those masterpieces that has not yet fully evolved to its greatest potential.

I also believe that the greatest music is yet to come from the hearts of those who understand that their emotional expressions through music is a great gift to mankind that should never be abandoned. After all everyone has emotions and there is someone who is feeling what you have felt and who will feel what you are feeling. It is the chord of emotionality that touches the human soul and causes us to remember what we have experienced and what we have escaped. These precious memories remind us that however bad situations have been we still manage to get through them and survive.
