Variety and Musical Content Reflects The Inner Reservoirs of The Unconscious
Music is the reflection of the inner state of the musician. What an individual is constructed of inwardly is what will be poured out of the inner essence of the heart. The music of the composer reveals all of the inner thoughts and feelings concerning life and those experiences of life. There are some composers who write from a creative approach to create unique compositions and are therefore drawing from the desire to create the unique sound. Just as some individuals may write poetry from a collective approach where they pull from the experiences of others musical composers at times do the same.
To a great degree there are many who find that their best writing flows from the experiences of their personal life. The various types of music (genres) are only the tools by which the composer seeks to use to convey the inner feelings that are being interwoven within a song. Today the music field has expanded into a conglomeration and integrated mixture of many genres into one.
Because life has become complicated the thoughts of and manners in which the artist expresses their feelings and inner themes have also become complicated. The various rhythms, pitches and tones become very important tools that make possible for the composer to communicate feelings through sound and the interwoven messages of the heart.
I believe that all music contains an inner message that is locked within the composition. It is possible to hear what is truly going on by observing several things when listening to a composition or even a CD project. These elements consist of the following:
1. The tones and melodies and how they invoke the emotions
2. The title of the song that is being listened to (It contains the musical thesis of the song)
3. The words if there are any are the direct communications of the composer to the listener.
4. The rhythmic beats that emphasize the emphasis of a specific thought, emotion or tonal mood.
Music is very comprehensive and mathematical in such a manner that it arouses cogitative patterns and emotional reflection in the hearer. This is why music is the foundation and essential elements of determining atmospheres and moods.
