Lion Legacy Future Music
Lion Legacy Music is an anomaly to say the least. As a part of Reeverian Concepts L.L.C. this division began simply by the founder exploring a means to produce music for the purpose of providing background research music for his personal writing. D. Reeves is continually speaking and teaching on many platforms and quiet time is not something that comes easy to him. In speaking to him I discovered that his music began as a means of self rejuvenating and self therapy. Growing up loving music he began years ago just tinkering on the piano but became serious about developing his own system and catalog of music about a little under a decade ago. He was introduced to Garage Band and in his long hours of late contemplation and reflection he would spend time playing the keyboard and constructing songs. The first CD project entitled: "The Journey Home" was never officially released but represented his sophomore level entry into becoming a writer, composer and producer of those musical projects that reflect his inner thoughts and emotions.
The songs began to flow like a continuous stream. Some he liked and most he did not until a dear friend, speaking on art which is another past time of Reeves said something to him about expression. It was then that he understood that the human soul only expresses what it feels and how it sees and understands the world around it. Every class he developed for colleges and for his own biblical institute became the catalyst for more music. Every individual that he sought to empower to change their lives became a word that led to a song which led to another project. This can be seen as a good thing since he has been in an educator, pastor and mentor for over 30 years he could draw from a wealth of experience and feelings. What he soon discovered was the expressions within his soul didn't shut off. One song became ten. Ten songs became fifty. His catalog of music now contains over two thousand songs and still growing. He has completed over two hundred CD project and continuing to produce. Being a late bloomer to the music industry he is moving at a phenomenal speed in producing a style of music that even he admits not knowing the its true category or genre.
A few years ago Reeves decided to release the newer projects and ultimately go back and release the past projects intermittently as the years progressed until the new projects began to pour out of him. With over twenty CD projects that have been compiled and covers developed yet to be released his marketing strategist continues to scratch his head as do the other members of the Reeverian Concepts team. Because Reeves is also an author with many books finished needing to be published there seems to be a similar problem with having enough hands to consistently produce the merchandise in a releasable format. Meetings are scheduled to determine how the mass catalog of music will be marketed and released. It has not been determined how and when the material will be released as of yet. Reeves has also included within his catalog of music classical and clazzical music projects that are also growing.
Hopefully these issues will be resolved in the months to come. To complicate matters Reeverian Concepts has been remodeling its production sites building and arranging new studios for recording, video taping and more. Reeves shows no signs of slowing down as of yet and continues to write and produce both music projects and books and says he will continue to as long as the Good Lord empowers and blesses him to do so.
