The Journey Home

The project, "The Journey Home" was my first project and represents a very important learning experience. I am a college professor that generally spends a great deal of time in research and writing. I have been in school or researching for as long as I can remember. I typically teach Philosophy, Theology and Theology Proper among other things. I also provide counseling and mediation for married couples. With all of this I also own my own company that publishes academic and ficitonal books ( primarily my own and those member owner partners of the company). I am quite busy and at times find it hard to balance being married, running a business and being all things to all people and have just a little time for myself.

The Project "The Journey Home" represents just that. It is my journey back to one of my greatest loves and that is music. Now that I have different staffs that can hold down the fort with all the diverse things that I am responsible I can now unwind and enjoy the fundamental things of life (music is one of those joys).

The Journey Home project represents my life shifting from where it was to a place where I can now enjoy the fruits of my many labors. After acquiring 3 Doctoral Degrees a resent bachelors and now pursuing a degree in Counseling with a focus on Sexology, my pursuit in just studying music . It expresses to me just what the title says, The journey home to a place that is cherished in my heart.

I have wrote several songs years ago but because of my immense schedule I didn't have time to pursue it further. It was only about 3 years ago was I able to begin writing again and I am just elated to be back at home on the keyboard and in my little studio at home. It is an awesome thing to do what you enjoy and be stress free!

I encourage all who have a dream follow after it and never give up. If your dream is truly a dream only you can make it what it is with the help of God! With hard work all things can become a reality.
