New Horizons In Music

I am finding out that most musicians that hit a snag in their wiritng do so because of the charts. What I mean by this is the following: Musicians and specific performing artists generally want to be appreciated for their music or their talents. To most people this translates over as sales and making the charts. When sales begin to fall most individuals feel as if they have lost their touch and that their music has become outdated.

I continue to compose music for several reasons and because I do not traditionally make a living from my music my perspective and philosophy is quite different from those who do. I continue to grow and compose music in many different genres because I hear and feels so many things that pertain to my life and the content of my life. My music is a relase for me and a therapy that is contained in sound. It is the living energy of sound that gives me peace and satisfaction. Although I have not really been concentrating on sales at this point ( I do have an individual who manages and handles the marketing side) because the creative aspect is very important to me.

I have never considered music of any kind to go out of style because music speaks of several aspects of life and its unique events at uniques stages in life that everyone will experience. I use a technique that I call distillation for my writing, composing and just about everything that I do when creating. I firmly believe that as long as you live there are so many sources of inspiration that fuel a note, a song and a sound. I am now seeking to find new horizons for composing and perfecting my craft. Not for merely selling music but for my own expression and release. When I release what I am feeling I know there are others who feel just the way I do about life and the circumstances that are a part of my life. The key is to be in touch with all that you feel and all that you experience.

New expressions enable the composer to have new mental and emotional experiences that will cause new self discoveries and revelations about what you are feeling and what you are learning about yourself, others and life in general. The sky is merely the starting point of success. Where you want to go is up to you. If you're willing to pay the price just about anything you put your mind to can be achieved. And with God all things are possible.
