A New Place In My Life

With the upcoming holiday season the team at Reeverian Concepts LLC want to be ahead of the game and to release at a bare minimum of 5 projects before the end of the year. This will give the company time to focus on the other divisions and to begin a heavy marketing campaign for the new year.

The Project "A New Place In My Life" was released near the last part of October just a few days before the latest release, "The Place of Shemen" This project is indicative of just what the title suggests. As an Inspirational Jazz writer and performer D. Reeves has not given up honing his skills in music and is now training rigorously each night to perfect his craft. He is now beginning to read as much as possible about theory and the science of music. Because he has only been playing and producing for the last 4 years seriously he feels that he has a lot to learn.

Sometimes individuals who are gifted stop and rely on the gift alone. But then there are those who realize that the gift does not amount to all that there is to music. Music, like knowledge is much greater than our capacity and therefore we all have much that we can acquire. This is what this project conveys. It is an attempt to explore and examine those forks in the road that we all must eventually come to and how we will make choices that will impact us for the rest of our lives. The project contains 10 tracks that will integrate strings, bass, the acoustic piano and several horns to provide an enjoyable Clazzical/Jazzical mix.
