Without Purpose We Devalue Ourselves And Others
When man sees himself as a living existence that has occurred by random anomolies he has diminished his value and importance in the universe. To accept that we have been forged and sculpted with tender care by an infinitely wise and powerful creator reveals that we exist for more than existing and adapting to the next step of some evolutionary process.
Randomality reduces man to circumstantial existence. In diminishing his own importance it is very easy to make light of someone else's existence. This is the problem with mankind today. We find it easy to esteem ourselves and to assume that we are superior to others based upon their race, creed or other uncontrollable circumstances.
Equality of all men can be seen in the common thread that binds us, for instance, we all are born, we all breathe, we all must eat, we all relieve ourselves and we all will ultimately die. What separates us from the animals is our awesome ability to create, to soar above the pits of our dispair and to in the time of need become a bridge to aid someone else to survive in this life.
